Spare parts are provided throughout this full period, while labour is also included in the first year to offer you additional peace of mind.

Even heat distribution ensures contrast media is at an optimal temperature to be administered before CT scans. This enhances patient comfort and the diagnostic value of the imaging examination, whilst mitigating the risk of burns to patients’ vascular systems.
There is also a quiet internal fan to support rapid temperature recovery after door openings, preserving the integrity of the contrast media and ensuring maximum efficiency.
To ensure contents don’t spoil, the safety overheat is automatically set 3°C above the set operating temperature. Should the cabinet reach this temperature, the overheat warning light will come on to notify you. In the unlikely event of excessive overheating, then the overheating failsafe will activate and shut off the cabinet – automatically resetting once the temperature returns to optimal.
Three levels of temperature safety include:
1. Automatic Overheat Protection
2. Secondary Independent Overheat Protection
3. Overheat Warning Light

All QED Contrast Warmers are made with medical grade stainless steel interiors and a powder coated exterior, offering a professional appearance, enhanced temperature control and easy cleaning. If desired, a stainless steel exterior is also available.
What’s more, all parts are fully replaceable, extending the product’s lifespan and reducing the need for complete unit replacements. This makes it a more sustainable and cost-effective warming cabinet solution compared to plastic alternatives, which contribute to environmental waste and require more frequent replacement.

The QED Contrast Media Warming Cabinet range comes in seven standard sizes, with capacities ranging from 10-140 bottles. Smaller models can also be wall-mounted if free-standing solutions aren’t appropriate for your environment.
