The lacquered wood finish head and foot boards create a homely environment whilst the bed still delivers essential features and hospital specification.

HEAD & FOOTBOARD OPTIONS

The head and footboards are available in a wide range of wooden finishes. The footboards are also available in a lower profile option. Transport head and footboards are available to offer hand grab positions for bed transfers over longer distances. Both the standard and transport boards are available in the finishes below:

WIDTH & WEIGHT CAPACITY

The Nestie Maternity Bed is available as a single bed or in one of three double sizes; 1070mm, 1200mm or 1370mm wide. This gives options to allow for more space to an individual occupant or enough space for two people to stay together comfortably.

The bed has a safe working load of 400kg which may also be of interest for the care of bariatric maternity patients. With a 400kg weight capacity, the bed safely and easily accommodates heavier loads.

MATTRESS COMFORT & COMPLIANCE

The Nestie bed is supplied with a bespoke, pressure redistributing foam mattress. It is waterproof with welded seams, zipped for internal assessment with zips covered by waterfall flaps, two-way stretch, moisture-vapour permeable and able to be cleaned with hospital-approved wipes and disinfectant solutions. The mattress is also Crib 5 fire retardant.

ONBOARD CPR

The Croyde Nestie Maternity Bed has an integrated CPR release mechanism that allows the backrest to be leveled in seconds to support positioning for emergency procedures.

The bed is also mobile and can be used for patient transfers as required.

LOW & HIGH HEIGHT POSITIONS

The low height position allows for easy entry to the bed regardless of patient height or mobility issues. The high height helps to facilitate suturing and also makes access for cleaning much simpler.

PROFILING BED ADJUSTABILITY

The Croyde Nestie Maternity Bed is designed to minimise strain and provide comfort and has a height adjustable, 4-section electric profiling frame.

The electronic handset can be used to control the height of the bed as well as adjust the backrest, thigh section and Trendelenburg tilt. The auto-chair function allows the bed to be moved into a chair position without having to manually adjust individual settings.
