HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT FOR CLINICIANS

The Croyde Twin Cot features a spring-assisted height adjustment pedal, allowing for effortless raising and lowering in one smooth motion.

With bi-lateral pedals accessible from either side of the cot, height adjustment is convenient and easy.

By adjusting the cot’s height to suit the clinician, neonatal examinations and observations are made more comfortable, reducing the need for bending or stooping and helping to prevent shoulder and back strain.

HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE FOR MOTHERS

Women who have had caesarean sections or complex births will benefit from being able to position their babies at a height that allows for comfortable and easy access.

Adjusting the babies to the correct height helps mothers avoid additional pain and discomfort.

Tailored height adjustments and drop-down sides enhance accessibility and help minimize maternal separation.

EASE OF ACCESS

The easy-to-use release buttons on each side allow the side panels to be lowered for convenient access. Designed with safety in mind, both catches must be released before lowering each side panel.

When lowered, the side panels provide full access along the side of the cot and enable it to be positioned next to the bed, allowing mothers to safely reach their babies.

PATIENT TRANSFERS

The Croyde Twin Cot comes with a standard transport handle, allowing it to be positioned at the most ergonomic height for easy transport.

An additional transport handle can be added to the opposite end, providing the option to push the cot from either side.

TRENDELENBURG TILT FUNCTION

The Trendelenburg tilt function is easily activated by pulling the release knob at the end of the cot, allowing for a 15-degree tilt.

This tilt function helps support a newborn’s delicate digestive system by keeping milk down and aiding the release of wind.

CLEANING

Height adjustment simplifies cleaning by allowing the cot to be moved to the ideal working height for wiping down. The raised position also provides easier access to clean underneath.

The cot is compatible with hospital-approved wipes and chlorine-based cleaning solutions, making it suitable for use in high-traffic wards. The lightweight mattress is easily removed, providing full access to the cot deck for thorough cleaning.
